Mediastinal bronchogenic cyst with back pain.

چکیده

We report a case of a mediastinal bronchogenic cyst with back pain. The rarity of this lesion and even the more uncommon association of this lesion with symptoms of back pain prompted the report of this case.

Bronchogenic cysts comprise approximately 6% of mediastinal tumors in children. The treatment consists in surgical resection of the cyst. The authors present the case of a 17-year-old girl who was accidentally diagnosed with a mediastinal cyst.
